This rustic waterfall is a standalone feature with elegant functionality. It’s also a problem solver.
An existing water feature on site was anything but the serene centerpiece the homeowners so desired. Raccoons visited and washed their food in the pond. An unsightly structure erected to stop leaf fall interrupted the aesthetic flow of the property (see “before” photo below).
Our ministrations included a pond-free system, where water is recycled from a shallow pebble bed, rendering it a low-water-use system. With no standing water, there’s no raccoon mess, and leaf litter can be easily taken care of with a leaf blower. No more lean-to to disrupt the scenery. Also, we chose natural stones of a size to fit the scale of the large yard. What’s more, the homeowner can adjust the flow of the water. On high, the waterfall roars, so it can be heard from the house, some distance away. Our clients were so thrilled, they sent us the “after” photo they’d taken themselve. It’s absolutely fantastic to see our work through the eyes of an appreciative customer.
